In December, I met 4 day old baby Carter and took his newborn pictures. Last month, I returned to his house to document his growth with 3 month pictures!
I enjoyed this shoot for several reasons A) I LOVE watching a family grow! (Which is why I have the weird pricing system that I do!) B) Carter's mom, Christine, and I follow each other on Pinterest, and I asked her to tag me on any poses that she came across and liked. She did, so before I even went to the shoot, I knew of 3 or 4 poses that I would be using! (So there's a little hint for anyone else who wants to share poses that they like with me! ;-) )
ANYWAY, here are some of my favorite pictures!
Thanks to Christine and Cayce for letting me have another fun shoot with you, and thanks to Carter for being particularly photogenic that day! :-)

Aurora and Emma's 2 Year Pictures
Two of my best friends have daughters that are less than a week apart, so it has become our tradition to have a joint photoshoot for them each year. This year, after I did this shoot, I informed Cynthia and Tiffany that we simply had to take Aurora and Emma's 2 Year Pictures in St. Marks. Did I mention that it is my favorite place to take pictures?
This is Emma.
Two balloons for two years old!
This is Aurora.
We try to get some pictures of them together each year!
Emma found this little hidden beach and it was definitely her sweet spot!
Whoops, the photography assistant got caught throwing rocks with Aurora!
Happy 2 Years to my 2 Favorite 2 Year Olds!!!

Will's Newborn Pictures
As I mentioned, my friend Melanie had a sweet baby boy, Will. Will was born the same weekend that my family was having its own medical crisis, which long story short has meant that my availability to do photography in Tally has been limited over the past couple months. Brad and Melanie were flexible and we were able to squeeze in some newborn pictures on a weekend that I was at home, but, unfortunately, their oldest son, Daylon, was out-of-town! So, all that goes to say, we are going to have to take some more family portraits very soon to be able to get the WHOLE family.
I felt like that was a necessary disclaimer. NOW, on to the cuteness!!!
This blanket was Brad's when he was a baby!
This chair also has sentimental value - I believe it was Melanie's as a child!
I know this was technically Will's shoot, but Jack had never been so photo happy for me before! So while Will was getting a snack, I took the opportunity to get some individual shots of Jack!
Even the cat got into some pictures!
I feel the need to say that, although Will was determined to ride the bike on his own, I had a lot of help from both Mom and Dad to get this shot.
My signature bucket!
Melanie and Brad, I think it goes without saying that I am so thrilled to watch your family grow, and getting to document it photographically is just icing on the cake. You guys rock! :-)
