I had an unique opportunity in May: I got to shoot a 1st Birthday Party for a little girl that I had previously taken baby pictures of! I had never {officially} shot this kind of party before, so this was new and fun experience! Here are some of the highlights:
More of this amazing cake later!
The birthday princess all dressed up and ready to go!
Ria's paternal grandparents had travelled all the way from India!
We did not have time to take formal one year pictures like I was hoping, but the dance floor of the party venue allowed for some impromptu portraits!
I think this was one proud grandmother!
Time for hats and cake!!!
The party was catered by an Indian restaurant so some of us **ahem** not-so-cultured guests had fun trying the different kinds of food!
A bounce house on the golf course outside allowed for a lot of fun pictures of all the kiddos!
I think this was my kids' favorite shoot that I've done so far. :-)
This sweet family asked me to take their picture!
Ria's first lollipop!
I had a lot of fun shooting this party, and I love it when a family allows me to come back into their lives periodically and document how much their little ones are growing! Thanks, Rahul and Mitu, for making us a part of your special day!!!
